Someone should just 3D print the whole thing, then paint it. Even printed plastic has to be sturdier than cardboard.

Can't believe it originally sold for $11.99. I remember seeing one at Sears when my parents were shopping for something else. I remember thinking, the only person who would buy that would be someone who didn't already have the mail-away Commander and their own single carded Trooper and Officer. I had all 3 figures, that would be weird to have doubles and a cardboard backdrop, especially when you could find new "actual" vehicles with drivers for a similar price.

If only I could time-travel back and tell myself to buy it and toss it in a water and fire proof safe.
